Hey there! We’re your typical nerdy, geeky couple that likes to write. We’re essentially just “those nerds that blog”. Since that’s who we are, we decided to put our passions to action and write.
I’m Jenn. I’m a full-time mom to a brilliant and beautiful geekette I call Rinnie. I write for The Daily Geekette as a gaming contributor (and general posts, from time to time). I am editor-in-chief, archivist and blogger over at the soon-to-be relaunched #BSULife Blog for Bridgewater State University. I serve as a member of the media and marketing team, there, while I study for my bachelor’s in writing & literature with heavy focus on folklore and mythology. I hope to obtain my masters in Boston with a dual degree in children’s lit and writing children’s lit, but that’s depending on funds and time. I am a writing intern over at Jeff Mach Events, the minds behind SPWF and Wicked Fair as well as other events. I revise, rewrite, and contribute to policies, press releases, vendor & performer contacts, and website content. I’m also a virtual coffee bitch. My bosses/friends ask me to work on something and I’ll damn well do it to the best of my abilities. I’m working on my own professional website, and am writing content to compile into my first book, a collection of poems and short stories. The shortest and simplest description of me is “I’m Jenn and I like a lot of things.”
Well, Jennity beat me to it, but this is my introductory post on this little blog of ours. I’m Dylan, your friendly neighborhood co-blogger! I work for a local comic book shop in Massachusetts, as well as interning for Jeff Mach Events as a member of the Logistics Division and Oracle. I’m Barbara Gordon, but a lot less good-looking. I’m also a writer in my own time, mostly of fantasy and poetry. (shocking, right?) I’m a nerd dilettante. A comic book geek (specifically Marvel and independent publishers), an audiophile, a tabletop and video gamer, a lover of fantasy and science fiction, a film lover, and dabbling enthusiast in a great many other things. So, it’s nice to meet everybody! Expect to hear from me plenty. Peace and love.
